Mother Nature’s Got Other Plans

The past week has been a nightmare for many families and travelers flying in and out of the UK.  I can’t even begin to imagine some of the journeys these people took to get back to their native countries. Many of them spent thousands of extra pounds on extended hotel stays, food, cabs, rented cars, rebooked flights, and train/ferry tickets. Who knew that a little volcano eruption in Iceland could cause all of this pandemonium?   (more…)
